Title or Location: Table Rock Lake
In painting the this view the memories of times spent with family and friends take over. Walking down to just skip rocks across the water. At least once a year we travel to Branson or Shell Knob, Missouri. It's a beautiful place the lake is clear.24x24 oil

Title or Location: Introvert
This started out just as a view of Table Rock Lake. I have many fond memories of going taking our family. As much as I enjoyed the family time, I have always been very much an introvert. In need of time just to myself an the more I looked at the water of this piece I could see alone time. That is how ?Introvert ? happened. Peggy Hayes

Title or Location: Mac Miller
This is a color pencil recreation of the last professional photograph of Mac Miller taken by Christaan Felber. In my drawing I focused on specifically on his eyes. This is a running theme through my works. This piece is for the local art show at Vertigo 232 Gallery. The show is centered around Music. The show opens Oct 6th (first Friday). In addition, I have an exhibition currently at City Arts, Through Her Eyes, running through Oct. 29th.

The ones that lost their lives and the ones that lost their health (including myself). I also dedicate to the Spix Macaw that is long gone because of human greed. sergiomendes you will be missed!

Title or Location: Charlie Fox
In this painting I wanted to convey the intensity of the fox's stare - that something has caught his eye and he is standing perfectly still watching it! I am always intrigued with how light hits a subject - this is why I love using oil paints as you can get such a depth of colour (I layer up the colours) and then the last few brushstrokes are the highlights and that is when the magic happens!

Title or Location: Lucy
This is Lucy, one of our favorite family dogs. She is the sweetest pooch and loves to ride in the car, windows opened. She is in her glory as her ears catch the wind and almost smiles. I tried to capture her wonderful nature in this watercolor painting. I used very heavy pigment to give detail to her fur. I so love the many styles watercolor allows you to create. It is one of my favorite paintings because, I Love Lucy:)
